Title: Meteorological Data
Custodian: EPA
Jurisdiction: South Australia
Meteorological data has been recorded at a variety of sites around South Australia. Data was collected from 1987c and is still being collected at various sites. The sites were selected usually as they correspond to air pollutant monitoring sites. The data has been collected over the last 10 years depending on the site. The data is in the form of times series, including various meteorological parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, sigma theta, air temperature and solar radiation. The data is typically 15 to 30 minutes averages readings taken every 5 seconds. Currently the data is in ASCII format.
The Meteorological Data set is a part of the Environmental Data Management System (EDMS) a management system to store ambient air, water, noise and landfill data collected by the EPA and some other agencies.
